A Structured Educational Pathway to Employable Independence

Kansanso Learning Center operates a continuous, transition-based educational model serving vulnerable children in Ghana from Nursery through secondary education or vocational training and into employable independence.

The Structural Problem

In underserved communities across Ghana, children exit the education system not from lack of ability, but from lack of sustained oversight, financial access, and structured transition support.

Most interventions address a single stage of education. We operate a multi-stage transition model designed to reduce long-term dropout and increase employable outcomes.

Our Multi-Stage Educational Model

A comprehensive approach that maintains support through every educational transition.

Stage 1

Early Foundations

Free preschool (Nursery - Basic 2) focused on literacy, numeracy, and structured classroom discipline. Early intervention reduces long-term dropout risk and increases the child's appreciation of formal education.

Stage 2

Monitored Public School Transition

Ongoing academic monitoring and family engagement during Basic 3 - 9 in Ghana's public system. We measure persistence, not just enrollment.

Stage 3

Post - Basic Pathways

Scholarship-supported Senior High School or structured trade/apprenticeship placement. Both academic and vocational routes receive equal support.

Stage 4

Mentorship to Employability

Continued oversight until stable, employable independence is achieved. Our goal is trajectory change, not attendance.

Education in Action

A structured progression from early foundations to monitored transitions and post-basic pathways.

Theory of Change

If early literacy foundations are established, transitions are monitored, post-basic pathways are funded, mentorship continues, long-term employable independence increases.
