About This Project
Before the establishment of Kansanso Learning Center, many children in our community were being lost to teenage pregnancy, child labor, child abuse, and neglect due to poverty, lack of access to early education, and the collapse of the local public preschool system. Without early learning opportunities, children were vulnerable and often dropped out before their educational journey could begin.
In response, we established a 100% free preschool to provide a strong foundation for every child, regardless of background. We enroll children from Nursery through Basic 2, focusing on literacy, numeracy, character building, and life skills. Upon completion, students are carefully transitioned into the government public school system, where they continue their education from Basic 3 through Basic 9.
Since our commencement in 2015, we have successfully enrolled over 200 children into government public schools, 75 students currently enrolled in our school giving them a second chance at education and a better future. With the generous support of our donors, we absorb all costs, ensuring that no child is denied education because of financial constraints. Our mission is simple: to ensure every child has a chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
